The Science

Formulated on evidence,
not on trend.

Every ingredient in this collection earned its place by doing something measurable in human beings. Here is how we decide what makes the cut — and what does not.

Our Standard of Proof

Three gates,
no exceptions.

An ingredient does not enter an Omnivia formulation because it is trending, because a competitor launched it, or because a supplier has surplus. It enters because it has cleared three independent gates — and if it fails any one of them, no amount of consumer demand changes the answer.

It has a record. Used by people, in meaningful amounts, over long enough that we would know if it caused harm. A multi-century safety record is data no eight-week trial can produce.

It has human evidence. Not cell culture. Not rodents. Randomized, controlled research in people, measuring something that matters outside a laboratory — and we weight systematic reviews above single trials.

It is documented. Composition and contaminant screening stated on a certificate of analysis, published in full. A claim with nothing behind it is marketing.

What this excludes. Several popular compounds fail these tests and are therefore absent from our line, whatever the demand for them. A short collection is the consequence of a real standard, not a lack of ambition.

What the category does. What we do.

Not a comparison with any one brand — a comparison with the category's habits. Every line in the right-hand column is checkable on this site.

Common practice Omnivia
The dose Proprietary blends — a total, not the parts Printed to the milligram on every consumable label
The certificate On request, if it exists at all Published in full, for every formulation
What testing means “Lab tested,” panels unspecified Specifications and results stated per panel, on the document
The research “Clinically proven,” citation absent Named studies, cited on every product page — caveats included
The guarantee Unopened returns only, restocking fees Thirty days, opened or unopened — nothing to send back

The left column describes practices common in the supplement category generally; it does not describe any specific brand. Dose disclosure applies to consumables; topical actives are listed in order of concentration, and where a number cannot be independently verified we do not print one.

What The Research Shows

Measured results, in people.

Four representative results from the literature underpinning our formulations. Each product page carries its own complete reference list.

0%1 Colostrum · immunityFewer upper-respiratory symptom days versus placebo, pooled across randomized controlled trials.
0 wk2 Retinol · fine wrinklesRandomized, vehicle-controlled trial recording significant improvement in fine wrinkles in naturally aged skin.
0 wk3 DMAE · firmnessDaily topical DMAE produced significant improvement in skin firmness and facial contour, sustained after use stopped.
0 mmHg4 Spirulina · blood pressureMean systolic change recorded with spirulina in meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials, largest in participants who began elevated.

How We Formulate

We give you the protocol,
not the homework.

You should not need a background in biochemistry to take care of yourself. Our job is to do the reading, make the judgment, and hand you something that works — with clear instructions and an honest timeline.

The research is on every product page if you want it. You are not required to want it.

Start with the outcome

We choose the endpoint first, then the ingredient that moves it.

Dose to the research

The amount that worked in the study, not the amount that fits a budget.

Build the full protocol

Every product tells you exactly how and when to use it, and what to expect.

Four Mechanisms

Where our formulations act.

01

Cellular energy

NAD⁺ precursors and mitochondrial electron-transport support. In a randomized trial of 80 middle-aged adults, blood NAD concentrations rose significantly at every NMN dose tested versus placebo, with six-minute walking distance improving alongside it.

Vitality NMN · Methylene Blue

02

Immune integrity

Immunoglobulin and growth-factor delivery at the intestinal barrier. Meta-analysis shows bovine colostrum significantly reduces the lactulose–rhamnose ratio, a direct marker of gut permeability.

Genesis Colostrum · Verdant Greens

03

Structural repair

Collagen synthesis, matrix remodeling and pigment regulation. Topical retinol produced significant improvement in fine wrinkles in a randomized vehicle-controlled trial, with increased procollagen I confirmed on biopsy.

Retinol · Peptides · PDRN

04

Recovery and rhythm

Nervous-system downregulation and sleep architecture. Magnesium supplementation reduced sleep-onset latency by roughly 17 minutes versus placebo across pooled randomized trials.

Nocturne · Momentum Creatine

On Method

How we handle evidence.

The questions we get most often from clinicians, and the answers we give them.

Ask our formulation team

Because ingredient research is what exists, and it is what every credible brand in this category is actually citing — the difference is that we say so. We select ingredients with human trials behind them, at amounts those trials used, and we tell you exactly what was measured.

It means a certificate of analysis exists for every formulation and is published in full on our certificates page — stating, panel by panel, what was tested and what the result was. Testing is performed under current Good Manufacturing Practices through our manufacturing partner; panels are matched to the product, from microbiological and heavy-metal screening on ingestibles to physicochemical verification on topicals, with measured active assays where run.

We would rather publish the document than paraphrase it. If a product cannot produce one, it does not join the collection.

We start from the dose used in the human trial with the most credible endpoint, then adjust only for bioavailability differences between the form studied and the form we use. We do not round down to reduce cost of goods. Where the literature supports a range, we formulate toward the upper portion of it unless safety data argues otherwise.

No. Dietary supplements are regulated as foods, not drugs, and it would be unlawful as well as dishonest to suggest that any product on this site treats, cures or prevents a medical condition. What we describe are mechanisms and measured endpoints from published research. The distinction is not a legal formality to us — it is the difference between science and marketing.
