Mechanism

How it works, at the level that matters.

Two mechanisms, both at the intestinal barrier — which is where a surprising amount of immunity is actually decided.
The first is direct immunoglobulin delivery. Colostral IgG survives partially intact through the upper gastrointestinal tract and binds pathogens at the mucosal surface before they establish. This is passive immunity — borrowed antibodies rather than stimulated ones — which is why the effect appears within weeks rather than months.
The second is barrier restoration. Colostrum carries growth factors, principally IGF-1 and transforming growth factor beta, which promote enterocyte proliferation and tight-junction protein expression. In a randomised trial in athletes, participants who began with elevated intestinal permeability returned to the normal range after supplementation, with significantly reduced stool zonulin — a direct marker of tight-junction disassembly.
Standardisation is what connects this product to that research. Commercially available colostrum varies markedly in bioactivity; two powders can look identical and differ several-fold in immunoglobulin content. Ours is specified at 25% IgG, delivering 575 mg per serving.

The Formulation Story

Why we made
this one.

Colostrum became a trend, and the trend produced a great deal of very poor product — collected too late, dried at temperatures that wreck immunoglobulin structure, sold without a single number on the label.
The published literature is blunt about the consequence: bioactivity varies markedly between commercial colostrum products. Which means someone buying colostrum on the strength of the clinical evidence may be buying something with almost no relationship to what was studied.
So the number is the whole point. 2,300 mg standardised to 25% IgG, 575 mg of immunoglobulin per serving, printed where you can read it. That is the difference between a product that resembles the trial conditions and a powder that merely shares the name.

Consistency is the variable that decides outcomes. Build the habit first; the biology follows on its own schedule.

One scoop daily, in cold water

Mix into 6–8 oz of cold water or a beverage of your choice and drink within ten minutes. Never add to hot liquid — heat denatures the immunoglobulin fraction.

Empty stomach where you can

Twenty to thirty minutes before a meal reduces the proteolytic load on the immunoglobulins and improves the proportion reaching the intestinal surface intact.

The trials behind the 44% figure ran eight to twelve weeks. Barrier effects accumulate; they do not arrive in a fortnight.

Before you begin.

No, and we would not sell it if it were. Colostrum is collected only after the calf has fed. A cow produces considerably more in the first days than one calf consumes, and the surplus was historically discarded.

Because published analysis found marked variability in bioactivity between commercial colostrum products. Two powders can be identical on the label and differ several-fold in immunoglobulin content depending on collection timing and processing temperature. Standardising to 25% IgG is what connects this product to the trials.

Colostrum contains considerably less lactose than mature milk and many people with mild intolerance take it without difficulty. It is not lactose-free, and it is emphatically not suitable if you have a dairy protein allergy. If your intolerance is significant, start at a quarter scoop.

Partially — that is the honest answer. A proportion of colostral IgG is degraded in the stomach; a meaningful proportion reaches the intestinal surface intact, and that surviving fraction is what the clinical outcomes reflect. Taking it on an empty stomach improves the ratio.

With protein powder, yes — many people do, and it is a common post-exercise combination. Not with coffee, or anything else hot. Heat denatures the immunoglobulins and you lose the reason you bought it.
